Student Fundraisers

Money raised through music program fundraisers is the property of the Riverside Area School District music department. It is credited to a student’s account for use toward approved music program expenses and is not the personal property of any student, parent, or guardian.

Balances have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, refunded, redeemed for cash, or paid to any individual or outside organization.

Credit may be applied only toward select field trips and other music program costs that the music business manager determines to be eligible. Transfers of credit between students are not permitted except where approved by the music business manager.

When a student graduates or otherwise leaves the music program, any remaining balance is transferred to the senior high music activity account, where it is used to help offset field trip costs for all students.
